The 12 clubs were allowed to register 6 regular players and a maximum of 8 substitute players. Not all clubs exhausted their registration quota completely. The SC Leipzig-Gohlis reported 12 players, the OSC Baden-Baden and Rotation Pankow 11 players each. Not all of the registered players were used. OSC Baden-Baden, SC Leipzig-Gohlis and Rotation Pankow managed with 9 players each, and SV Wolfbusch was the only club to use all 14 registered players at least once. A total of 127 players came, 17 of whom competed in all competitions.
The best player in points was Tina Mietzner (OSC Baden-Baden) with 9.5 points from 11 games, Irina Wassilewitsch (USV TU Dresden) and Veronika Kiefhaber (Karlsruher SF) achieved 8.5 points each from 11 games . With Lara Stock (Hamburger SK), Sandra Krege (USV Volksbank Halle), Annegret Süß (SC Leipzig-Gohlis) and Larissa Erben (SV Wolfbusch) four players scored 100%, but they only played a few games. Stick and Krege were used twice each, Suss and Erben once each. The oldest player of the season was Dietlind Meinke (* 1943), who played for SK Doppelbauer Kiel, and the youngest player again was Milana Smolkina (* 1993) from Hamburg.
