In 2005, the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile , through its subsidiary Canal 13, received from the Archbishop of Santiago 100% of Compañía Radio Chilena SA , owner of Radio Chilena , a station that broadcast its signal through 100.9 MHz and 660 kHz from Santiago .
In 2006 , Channel 13 decided to terminate Radio Chilena due to its high operating costs, and replace it with a station that would be a commercial alternative that would not cause losses and that would leave out saturated Hispanic American pop artists with the intention of programming style music. The 1 of March of 2013 , a column in the Daily Pulse discloses the decision of the Luksic Group to restructure radios Horizonte and Oasis , laying off staff of these, leaving Radio Horizonte with its current model music independent but only as a online radio platform and redirect the Oasis FM music trend to a younger audience. In addition to the 103.3 FM of Santiago and 101.1 FM of Viña del Mar / Valparaíso dials occupied by Horizonte, and the 89.5 FM of Concepción and 92.9 FM of Puerto MonttWhich were occupied by Oasis, began broadcasting on 19 March as as 2013 Radio Top FM , dedicated to radio pop hits for a mixed audience C2 and C3 between 18 and 45 years. In December 2014, Top FM's broadcasting cessation was announced due to lack of results. Monday through Saturday programs were canceled the week of December 31 , with Sunday programs ending weeks later. In April 2015 it was definitively replaced by Tele13 Radio , informational radio, on the frequencies previously occupied by Top FM.
During 2019, the Emisor podcasting site was launched, a platform dedicated to programs in Podcasting format .
