JJCC Anthem / La internacional is a single by the famous Chilean group Quilapayún , released in 1972 under the DICAP labeland the Consejo Nacional Juventudes Comunistas de Chile . While the song on Side A , "Hymn of the JJCC " , was composed by the Chilean composer and pianist Sergio Ortega , the theme for Side B is the famous anthem of the labor movement " The International " , written by the French revolutionary Eugène Pottier and set to music by Belgian Pierre Degeyter. [ 3 ] The latter had previously appeared on Side A of the band's 1971 single, La internacional / La Segunda Declaration de La Habana .
