The A-347 is an autonomous road dependent on the Junta de Andalucía , belonging to the inter- regional network , which runs entirely through the southeast of the province of Almería . It connects the towns of Adra and Alcolea (Almería) , [ 1 ] constituting one of the connections of the regions of the Alpujarra Almeriense and the Poniente Almeriense , connecting with the Mediterranean Highway and the coast itself. Berja is one of the main population centers that it crosses.
The A-347 begins at an intersection with the A-348 , close to Alcolea, and ends at an intersection with the A-7, close to the Puente del Río district , about 4 km from Adra. The average daily traffic intensity is in the range 2,000 to 5,000 vehicles / day, [ 2 ] being 3,772 vehicles / day in 2011. [ 3 ]
The section from Adra to Berja has an average speed of less than 60 km / h, while on the section from Berja to Alcolea the average speed is between 81 and 90 km / h. [ 4 ]
