Junta de Andalucía
The A-4133 is an autonomous highway dependent on the Junta de Andalucía that connects the towns of Vélez de Benaudalla and Motril . Its route coincides with the last section of the primitive road N-323 , built in the 19th century, during the reign of Isabel II , as stated in an inscription present in the only tunnel it has, called "La Gorgoracha Tunnel" for being at the height of said district of Vélez de Benaudalla .
Its winding layout means that in the region it receives the colloquial name of "Carretera de los Caracolillos".
