To the funeral - A la funerala

The funerala is called the special way of carrying weapons in the infantry . It consists of putting the muzzles of the rifles facing the ground and the butts upwards supporting the key of the indentation of the left arm. The officers carry the sword under their arms looking down.

The flags and banners, sometimes covered with black crepe, and the pennants of the spearmen are wrapped around the flagpole. This position is used as a sign of mourning, on Good Thursday and Good Friday , at the funerals of a royal person and generals of the army.
