A los Hombres que Amé is Ana Belén's twentieth studio album.

It is an album in which Ana Belén sings, interprets and recreates songs by 14 of her favorite composers, such as Joaquín Sabina , Kiko Veneno , Joan Manuel Serrat and Fito Páez , among others. It is produced and arranged by David San José, son of the singer. With this album, Ana Belén breaks four years of record silence, since the publication of her album Anatomía .

To the Men I Loved is published in two different formats:

  • Simple Edition. Contains the CD with 14 songs.
  • Special edition. Contains the CD with 14 songs + 40-page book with exclusive photos, song lyrics and texts by the authors. [ 3 ]

The publication of the album coincided with the beginning of the series of concerts at the Spanish Theater in Madrid framed within the Silent Music tour . Life rhymes with Rosa Torres-Pardo .

The album obtained the Gold Record certification for its sales in Spain. [ 4 ]

Special on TVE

Ana Belén presented the album in a special program broadcast on Christmas Eve on La 1 de TVE . During the program, the artist presented her new songs and reviewed her usual hits, sharing the stage with artists such as Miguel Bosé , Joaquín Sabina , Joan Manuel Serrat , Víctor Manuel , Pasión Vega and Estopa . [ 6 ] The broadcast of the special obtained a resounding audience success, improving the network's data by 5.7 points compared to the previous year. [ 7 ]

Tour

In March 2012, the singer embarked on a new 2-year solo tour to present the album. As part of this tour, Ana offers her first concert at the Liceo Theater in Barcelona and performs for 5 consecutive nights at the Spanish Theater in Madrid . The artist combines concerts with rehearsals and performances by Electra at the Mérida Theater Festival in the summer of 2012 . In Latin America he presents the album in the concerts of the fourth and fifth phases of the Tal para qué tour with Víctor Manuel , in 2012 and 2013, respectively, and with solo concerts in 2014 .
