It was founded on November 9, 1902 in the city ​​of Sao Paulo , capital of the same name and was characterized by being an elitist team since most of its players were professionals, they were engineers, doctors and graduates because they were made up of the most important families. wealthy of the city and their colors and uniform were similar to those of the Olimpia Club of Paraguay . In 1904 he entered the Paulista Championship for the first time, and was one of the strongest teams in the state of Sao Paulo since the late 1900s and early 1910s where he managed to be state champion three times between 1909 and 1915. [ 4 ] In the 1920s the club was involved in the dilemma of the professionalism of the Paulista championship to which the club was against, initiating a competition between the professional and amateur teams of the league in that decade, period in which the club won the tournament. state start three times.

The amateur league disappears and as AA das Palmeiras suffered shame in the following seasons in which it appeared in the low positions of the Paulista Championship classification, it disappeared at the end of the 1929 season because it did not meet the conditions for professionalism. [ 5 ]
