Aage Ansgar Hansen-Löve (* 1947 in Vienna ) is an Austrian Slavist and literary theorist.


Hansen-Löve is a son of the publicist Friedrich Hansen-Löve . He studied Slavic and Byzantine Studies in Vienna , Prague and Moscow . In 1978 he was at the University of Vienna with the monograph " The Russian formalism . Methodological reconstruction of his development from the principle of alienation ”. In 1984 he completed his habilitation there with the monograph “The Russian Symbolism . Diabolic and Mythopoetic Paradigmatics ”. From 1987 until his retirement in 2013 he held the chair for Slavic Philology at the Ludwig Maximilians UniversityMunich is inside. From 1999 to 2003, Hansen-Löve was the head of the DFG project "The System of Intermediality in Russian Modernism". 2006–2012 he was a member and deputy spokesman of the DFG research group "Beginnings (in) the Modern Age" in the sub-project: "The Russian Neoprimitivism". Since 2015 he has been giving seminars at the Institute for Comparative Literature at the University of Vienna. He is co-founder, co-editor and editor of the journal Wiener Slawistischer Almanach .
