Andrés Mateo Vilches ( Algeciras , 1918 - 1993 ) was a Spanish footballer , international with the Spanish soccer team .

Trajectory

After playing in several teams in his hometown, he played for Algeciras Club de Fútbol , Linense , Atlético Tetuán , Cádiz Club de Fútbol for the seasons 1935 - 1941 and at Sevilla Fútbol Club where he achieved the greatest successes and where he is remembered. as one of the best players in his history playing a total of 115 games during the seasons from 1941 to 1950 . Spanish selection

He was international three times with the Spanish team, making his debut there on March 15, 1942 . After his retirement from soccer he returned to his hometown where he coached youth teams until his death on May 4, 1993 .
