Naudon Andrés Figueroa ( Recoleta , Chile , 15 of April of 1966 ) is a lawyer Chilean and graduate of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the Central University of Chile , an institution where he also served as dean between 2012 and 2015.

Academic Career

He studied law at the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences of the Central University of Chile , where he graduated. He also has a Master's degree in Law from the Central University and a Master's degree in Labor Law from the Adolfo Ibáñez University .

Since 1994 and to date, he has served as Professor of Labor Law and Social Security Chairs at the Faculty of Law of this university, and from 2007 to date, as Director of the Department of Economic and Social Security Law. Work of the same Faculty. In this last capacity, he promoted and directed the Faculty's First "Trade Union School" free of charge and participated as co-author of the Book "The Massacre at the Santa María de Iquique School (1907 -2007): A Hundred Years of the Political Will to Kill". [ citation required ] Likewise, he is the author of the book of notes "Collective Labor Law", of the Collection of Notes of the Central University. He also works as a labor trainer for ICAREand has been a speaker at various academic seminars. In 2005 he was awarded for his dedication and contribution to the Central University and in 2010 and 2011, for his contribution to the Valparaíso Institute of Forecasting and Assistance (IPA).

His field of academic interest and lines of research are related to the socioeconomic aspects of Labor Law. On them he exhibited in the last Conference of Law Sciences of the Central University. In the professional field, after graduating, he worked as a lawyer for the Securities Prosecutor's Office of the Superintendency of Securities and Insurance of Chile , perfecting himself in the United States. In 1998 he assumed the legal management of the "Harseim Group of Companies" and since 2007 he has dedicated himself to the free exercise of the profession, mainly in labor and corporate matters, advising externally on labor matters to the "Estudio Pfeffer & Asociados" and serving as a partner of the “Estudio Rogel & Naudon, Abogados”. He is currently a member of the Bar Association and the Chilean Association of Labor Relations. [ 1 ]
