Together with Adalberto Campos, they led a radio cast called "Youth" for many years. López always played "Negro Faustino" [ 1 ] , a comic character who appeared on theater tours characterized as a man of color. During the decade of the 40s, they starred in numerous hits, some of them like Fachenzo el Maldito , Soy Judío and many more. They were broadcast by LS6 Radio del Pueblo , the actress Elena Lucena was also a member of that group . He did radio plays such as Las nazarenas de la muerte , a play by Audón, on Radio del Pueblo and La zapatera y el millionaario .
In cinema he worked in the films El morocho del Abasto (The life of Carlos Gardel) (1950) together with Rolando Chaves , Tito Lusiardo and Analia Gadé , They called him Bairoletto (1956) with Horacio Aranda and Tomás Simari , El gaucho y el diablo ( 1952) with Juan José Míguez , Elisa Christian Galvé , Francisco Martínez Allende and Elina Colomer , and El milagro de Ceferino Namuncurá (1972) with Catalina Toranzo Toledo , Nelly Ortíz and Lucerito Aguilar. He worked under the direction of great directors of the moment such as Máximo Berrondo , Ernesto Remani , Julio C. Rossi , among others. [ 3 ]
He joined respected companies such as Atilano Ortega Sanz . In theater he acted in plays such as A blood rose on the sand , Marinella, the river's bride , Juan Moreira's passion and Pastor Luna's El facón with Héctor Bates , Héctor Miranda and Omar Aladio . [ 5 ]
His son was also the actor Carlos López.
