Daniel Emanuel Alifraco (n. 4 February 1991, Lanús , Province of Buenos Aires ) [ 1 ] is a pilot Argentine of road racing . Recognized in the Argentine motor sport environment, he developed his sporting career competing in different categories, most of them being divisions of the Road Tourism Corridors Association . He made his debut in 2008 in the GT 2000 , a national sports prototype category , at the command of an ADA- Chrysler and subsequently participated in the TC Pista Mouras divisions., TC Mouras and TC Pista , competing in all these cases on Ford Falcon units . He also participated sporadically in the Junior division of the Top Race and occasionally as a guest in special championships of TC Mouras for this class of competitors. In 2010 , he won the runner-up of TC Pista Mouras , having been the winner of the Qualifying Stage, but unable to break the dominance of the eventual champion Martín Laborda .
On a personal level, he is recognized for belonging to a family linked to the professional practice of motor racing, whose main figure is his father Walter Alifraco , former TC driver and current chasista and preparer of competition cars for the ACTC divisions .
Its beginnings were within the GT 2000 category , heir to the extinct Argentine Sport Prototype, where Emmanuel made his debut and first steps in 2008 , at the command of an ADA chassis with a Chrysler Neon car drive . In this category he remained until 2010 , closing among the top ten drivers of the championship in his first two years. Precisely, in 2009 he would have his first contact with a tourist car, when he debuted in the last two dates of the championship of the divisional TC Pista Mouras , commanding a Ford Falconenlisted by his father Walter's team. In this category, it would develop its first full season the following year, in 2010 , an opportunity in which the division premiered the definition system of its championship through a qualifying Play Off, getting in tune with the other ACTC divisions. In this season, Emmanuel would show his full potential in the first phase, being the first to qualify. However, if this system had not been mediated, he could have celebrated his first personal title, but the forcefulness shown by his rival Martín Laborda in the last stage would end up relegating him to the runner-up. Despite this loss, he quickly became the recipient of promotion to the TC Mouras division .
In 2011 , he would debut in a new category, always hand in hand with his father Walter's team and under the command of a Ford Falcon , when he debuted at TC Mouras . This season he would once again show a good performance in which, despite not having obtained victories, he would qualify for the Play Off for the Coronation Cup, closing the year in 5th place overall. Along with these presentations, this season he would also receive an invitation to participate in the divisional Top Race Junior , where he competed under the command of an Alfa Romeo 156 from the GT Racing team . [ 3 ] In 2012, luck would be elusive, since he would not be able to classify to the definition stage. Even so, he would manage to get on the podium once and close the championship in 10th place, which allowed him to finally ascend to the TC Pista division . [ 4 ]
In 2013 , he would divide his activity between TC Pista and TC Mouras, giving priority to the first of the two since in the second he would barely reach two competitions as a starting driver. However, given his status as a TC Pista driver, he would be called up as a guest driver in a special competition, having for the first time contact with a Chevrolet Chevy unit . [ 5 ]
