Florence Marie Therèse Thomas ( Rouen , France , 1943 ) is a French Colombian psychologist, columnist, writer and feminist activist . She is considered one of the most influential voices in the movement for women's rights in Colombia [ 1 ] . Among his most outstanding works are Conversations with Violeta, The reconstructed male and female, It was necessary to say it and Conversations with an absent man . In 2005 he won the Simón Bolívar National Journalism Award for best opinion column [ 2 ]. In 2017 she was decorated by the French government with the National Order of the Legion of Honor [ 3 ] in the rank of Knight. He currently writes for the national newspaper El Tiempo .
