Fuentes Florencio Estébanez ( Osorno la Mayor , Palencia , November of maypole of 1901 - † Herrera de Pisuerga , Palencia , 1970 ) was a worker in the field [ 1 ] and executioner head of the Audiencia of Valladolid. He assisted as an assistant to the first executions of Vicente López Copete , teaching him how to use the stick .

During his career he had feelings of guilt, which caused him a file for refusing an execution in 1952. [ 1 ] He refused to continue after Trespalacios' execution in 1953, for which he was filed and convicted. [ 2 ] He alleged that his children's lives were made impossible at school because of their father's trade. [ 3 ]

Despised by his neighbors, estranged from his family and lacking in resources, he came to beg to live. [ 1 ] He committed suicide in 1970 . [ 4 ]

He went on to carry out several multiple executions, such as that of nine inmates in the Barcelona Model Prison in 1944.
