The Force Aeronaval # 2 ( FAE2 ) is a unit of naval aviation of the Navy of Argentina based on the Naval Base Commander Espora and dependent on the Command Naval Aviation .

History

It was created in 1936 as the Defense Force of the Puerto Belgrano Naval Base . In 1942 it adopted the name of the Puerto Belgrano Air Force . [ 1 ]

On April 2, 1982 Argentina took the islands Malvinas , Georgias of the South and Sandwich of the South . [ 2 ]

Air Naval Force No. 2 constituted the Embarked Air Naval Group and Task Groups 80.2 and 80.3. [ 3 ]
