Jörg Hellmuth (2013)

Jörg Hellmuth (born September 20, 1957 in Hettstedt ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 2013 to 2017 he was a member of the German Bundestag .

Life

After graduating from high school, Hellmuth trained as a vehicle fitter. From 1978 to 1983 he studied agricultural science at the University of Halle-Wittenberg . He then worked at LPG Wust from 1983 to 1990 . In 1990 Hellmuth, who has lived in the community since 1981, became mayor of Wust . This post he held until 1992 when he district administrator of the district Havelberg was. With the district reform in Saxony-Anhalt, which came into force on July 1, 1994, the district of Havelberg became part of the district of Stendal . Hellmuth held the office of 1st alderman of the new district from 1994 to 1999. From 1999 to 2013 he was the district administrator of the district of Stendal.

Hellmuth is married and has three daughters.

In the 2013 federal election , he won the direct mandate in the Altmark constituency and thus moved into the Bundestag. Hellmuth was a full member of the Defense Committee , [1] a full member of the Interior Committee [2] and a deputy member of the Committee on Food and Agriculture . [3]
