Jürgen-Michael Galbierz (born February 7, 1950 ) is a former German soccer player . The defensive player has in the clubs Schalke 04 and Wuppertal SV 1968 to 1975 in the football league 65 Matches (3 gates) completed [1] .

Career

Galbierz, who came to the “Knappen” from the SC Buer-Hassel district club , made his Bundesliga debut at FC Schalke 04 on August 31, 1968 in an away game (1-1) against VfB Stuttgart at the age of 18 . The young player was substituted on by coach Günter Brocker in the 68th minute for Hans-Jürgen Becher as defender. Even when Rudi Gutendorf took over from Brocker on November 22, 1968, nothing changed in the permanent staff in defense: Becher, Friedel Rausch and Klaus Sengerwere first choice and Galbierz made five league appearances in his first year in the Bundesliga when he reached 7th rank. In addition to Galbierz, Schalke had also managed the other obligations of Heinz van Haaren , Franz Hasil , Gerd Kasperski , Herbert Lütkebohmert , Bernd Michel and the return campaign for “Stan” Libuda before the 1968/69 season . With four games in the 1978/79 season with Wuppertal in the 2nd Bundesliga, he ended his higher-class career due to injury. He was substituted on on September 10, 1978 in a 1: 4 away defeat at Arminia Hannover in the 46th minute and had to leave the field injured in the 51st minute. After that, his career was over.
