José Corbacho Nieto ( Hospitalet de Llobregat , Barcelona , December to December of 1965 ) [ 1 ] is an actor , director , writer and humorist Spanish.


He was born in the hospital neighborhood of Santa Eulalia and while his mother comes from Salamanca , his father comes from La Zarza ( Badajoz ). He went to the Casal dels Àngels school in his hometown. [ 2 ] He studied Information Sciences at the Autonomous University of Barcelona [ 3 ] and, according to himself, he still has a television course pending. [ 4 ]


In theater he began with the company La Cubana ( 1988 ). In more than ten years of his career he participated in works such as Cubana Delikatessen , Cubanas a la carte or Cubana Maraton dancing .


His career in television is linked to the El Terrat production company , of which he is a partner and content advisor. He has appeared in early morning programs such as Una altra cosa ( TV3 ), Me lo told Pérez (1999, Telecinco ) or La Último Noche ( Telecinco ), but it was in Homo Zapping (2003-2007, Antena 3 ) where he became popular in the national television. In ( 2009 ) he directed the series Pelotas together with Juan Cruz , broadcast from February 23, 2009 to June 7, 2010 on La 1 de Televisión Españolaand produced by El Terrat , where he also played the role of the psychologist. In 2012 and 2013, he was part, respectively, of the jury for the third and fourth seasons of Tú si que vales ( Telecinco ) and collaborated with Andreu Buenafuente and Berto Romero on Buenas noches y Buenafuente ( Antena 3 ). After the cancellation of this program, he signed for Telecinco in June 2012 where he presented the short-lived contest Everyone is good , together with Pilar Rubio , [ 5 ] also participating in new installments of Tú si que vales. On November 14, 2012, co-he presented at Telecinco with Soraya Arnelas program late night , Cabaret Olé . In 2014, he served as a jury in Look who jumps (Telecinco) and The funniest town in Spain (La1). In 2017, he participated in a new program of 1, 2, 3 ... Hypnotízame on Antena 3. Later he participated as a contestant in the second edition of MasterChef Celebrity , along with Edu Soto or Silvia Abril . In January 2018, the TCMS special : New Year's Concert 2018 ( Antena 3), where he participates, again with Edu Soto and Silvia Abril, imitating Mario Vaquerizo , ( Nancys Rubias ).


Together with his friend Juan Cruz, he shot the film Tapas ( 2005 ), which received the Biznaga de Oro award for best film, the audience award and the best actress award ( Elvira Mínguez ) at the Malaga Festival . Corbacho received for this film the Goya for best new director and Elvira Mínguez the Goya for best supporting actress. His second film as a director was Cowards and it was released on April 25 , 2008 . In 2015 he premiered Incidencias , his third film.
