Adrian Cocking founded the company LR Roadsters in Chingford in 1984 and began with the production of automobiles, also as a kit . The brand name was Ram . In 1986 the company moved to Newmarket . In 1994 the company, now trading as Ram Automotive , moved to Cardiff and in the same year to Witham. Since 2000 the company has been called Realm Engineering and is based in Honeybourne near Evesham .
The company produces replicas of classic automobiles.
The first model SC is still in production. It is similar to the AC Cobra . A tubular frame designed by Adrian Reynard serves as the chassis . The body was initially made of fiberglass , since 1991 made of aluminum as an alternative . The vehicles are powered by a V8 engine . So far, around 1500 vehicles have been built from this model.  In 1993, an all-wheel drive version added to the range. The SEC was a cheaper version with many parts from Ford .
In 1985 the LM appeared , which is also still in production. It is a replica of the Jaguar D-Type . Six-cylinder in - line engines from Jaguar Cars are built into the chassis known from the SC . Around 200 vehicles have been built so far. 
The RT from 1987 to 1990 was similar to the Ferrari Daytona . A fiberglass body was again mounted on a revised tubular frame chassis. A Jaguar V12 engine provided the drive. This model had little success on the market with around 30 copies. 
The C-Type , a replica of the Jaguar C-Type , has had around 110 buyers since 2003.
